Olympia Project

This project, located in Olympia, Washington, needed several sheets of rotted siding replaced and new paint. This will include removing the trim and 2 windows in order to remove the original siding. Customer also wants white trim and a color on the siding when finished.

We start by cleaning the house first with a quality cleaning solution.

In order to remove the siding, we removed the existing windows, removed the section of rotted siding and trim and prepped the studs for new vapor barrier and siding. Everything behind the siding was in good condition.

We like to prime the back bottom edge of the sheet siding with a quality oil primer prior to installation to help avoid future rotting.

New 15lb felt paper is installed prior to the new sheeting.

After the new vapor barrier is installed, we install the new sheet siding.

Original windows are re-installed and ready for caulking & trim.

Once the new siding is primed with a quality oil primer, it’s ready to paint.

Siding and trim is painted with a quality latex satin paint. Great results.

Customer loves the results and the new color of her home.
